How cute is this packaging??? I purchased this mainly for the adorable piggie~ and because it reminded me of the well hyped Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel. Is collagen gel as good as aloe vera? I shall review this for you right now. ^.<
Collagen soothing gel is suppose to improve the elasticity of skin and moisturise dry skin with rich moisture to provide soft skin whilst giving a fresh sensation. It's suitable for all skin types and for face and body care usage. There is 300ml of product, which is bargain for it's price and will last you for ages!
Please excuse the makeup swatches on my hand~ >.< The gel is colourless and has a sweet citrus scent. The texture and consistency is very much alike aloe vera gel. The gel absorbs very quickly into the skin, does not leave any residue and finishes to a tight matte touch, which I am not really fond of. The finish makes my face feel not moisturised at all, as for body it's okay. I like that it's multifunctional, you can apply a thick layer on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes for a cooling and soothing mask. Using it has a normal moisturiser I personally think it does not do the job well, where as using it as a mask is quite nice and has more obvious results - smoother skin. Overall I think it's average product and if you're looking for a good moisturiser this is not it. Unfortunately >.< You're better off purchasing normal aloe vera gel.

Have you tried any multipurpose beauty gels? ^^ If so, which one and what's your experience with it? :')
The last time I did art was for college; computer science is an intense degree so the amount of free time I have is tight af. This Easter I did however manage to get in touch with my artsy side again, which you may have seen on my Instagram~ ^.< If not then here is my most recent one. I definitely can see that my painting skills have degraded asdfghjkl Dx So I am temped to do #100daysdoodlechallenge to get my skills up to scratch again! >.<
Here is the process video of the painting if you want to check it out :')
Have you pick up an old hobby again? ^^
Think I am becoming a LUSH addict, so here we go with another LUSH product review~ I think this may be marketed at males (most likely unisex) but who cares, it's a shower gel and I want some of that invigorating minty fresh feeling!
Product Description from the LUSH website
"A shower gel to leave you feeling minty fresh and alert. Dirty Springwash leaves skin feeling invigorated - perfect after a workout at the gym. Spearmint and menthol create a tingling effect on the skin, and stimulates the mind. Thyme adds a herby note to the fresh scent."
I usually stick to floral and fruity scents but the name Springwash caught me, so it's time to switch it up~ The gel has a light and gentle refreshing minty scent, same as unwrapping a spearmint chewing gum. I love that the scent is not overpower like other minty products. The lovely scent lingers on after you've showered, refreshing the atmosphere around you too.
The consistency is quite runny as you can see BUT this stuff is amazing! It truly feels look you're diving into a cool spring pool in summer. It's refreshing and alerting, great for those sluggish mornings to start the day off. The spearmints gives you a light cool sensation in a hot shower, perfect after a sticky intense workout. My skin feels clean to the touch and my mind is stimulated. I definitely recommend this as it's such a wonderful sensual experience.
