The Body Shop Vitamin E Sink In Moisture Mask Review

My skin has been getting random dry patches due to sensitivity to weather changes and pulling constant all-nighters, so I decided to try out the Body Shop moisture sink in mask to hydrate and help repair my skin. The mask contains Vitamin E to nourish and protect the skin, cotton seed oil and rice bran to provide intense moisture and organic soya oil to moisturise and heal. The perfect benefits i'm looking for!

To use this mask, you simply apply a thin layer onto your skin and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then tissue off the excess as recommended. However, I like to leave it on overnight for an intensive treatment and like a sleeping pack. A small amount is enough to cover your entire face. It also has a cooling sensation when you apply it.

The mask has a gel like texture due to the glycerin - great for dehydrated skin. It sinks/melts into the skin well, absorbing in all the good stuff within seconds and does not leave any residue behind. It also has a light rose scent.

I used this mask multiple times a week and found that it didn't really do much for me. It leaves my face feeling refreshed and soft after usage; delivers moisture to my skin but not particularly well. The hydration is temporary and does not last. There are better products that would be able to offer more moisture. Not a bad product, just quite average in my opinion. I am unlikely to repurchase it. I have read some other reviews where users experienced stinging, I believe this is because the mask is more suited towards dehydrated skin rather than dry or sensitive skin. I have not experienced any stinging myself thankfully.

Pros:

Absorbs in quickly
Leaves the face feeling refreshed and cool
Non greasy - does not leave residue behind
A little goes a long way
Delivers a little moisture

Cons:

Contains parabens (preservatives)
Hydration does not last
NOT actually suitable for all skin types

NewDress Wistlist

Another clothing wish list because you can have never have enough clothes hue~ ^.< This is post in collaboration with NewDress.com. Their site and clothing is very similar to Dresslink.com, they offer the latest fashion trends at amazing inexpensive prices, great for those that are on a budget or don't want to spend much on new clothing all the time, whilst being able to keep up with all the latest asian fashion trends. ^^ After browsing through the site, here are the items i've selected for my NewDress Wishlist~

1) Sexy Retro V-Neck Backless Dress US$8.07

Such a beautiful dress! Love both of the colours, I honestly can't chose which colour QwQ~ This would be great for clubbing and parities. I love how sexy yet elegant it is.

2) Asymmetric Bodycon Dress - White $5.09

Dresses with half sleeves are my favourite. This bodycon dress is simple yet sexy as it shows your figure. The black edges add a lovely statement detail thats not in your face. They also have this dress in reserve colour option - black with white edges. I chose the white one as I feel it has a more clean and sharp look to it, plus I have way too many black clothes!

3) Synthetic Leather Tote Bag - Wine Red $10.45

Tote bags are my go to bags; they pull an outfit together perfectly yet the size is practical and holds your essential belongings. In this case, i've chosen this tote bag in a lovely wine red colour, great for adding some colour to your outfit or to make an statement. NewDress also have this available in green, khaki, navy blue and black.

4) Floral Chiffon Romper $8.58

The perfect romper for summer~ such a versatile piece, you could wear this as an everyday look, to the beach and parties.

5) Korean Ripped Black High Waist Skinny Jeans $8.55

I feel that skinny jeans and ripped jeans are an essential for any person that adores edgy fashion - THESE ARE A MUST HAVE TO ME <3 *^* two in one, what more could I ask for?

6) Bowknot Cut Out Prom Party Dress $7.12

HOW ADORABLE ARE THE CUT OUTS AND BOWKNOT? The monochrome combination as well is to die for! I utterly adore this dress but it will take some courage for me to wear it out :')

7) Evening Chiffon Party Dress - Red $4.50

Last item~ I have a thing for red dresses, they're always on my clothing wish lists~ :')

KPop Diet #14: SISTAR Soyu Quail Egg Diet

Recently Sistar's Soyu went on this crazy harsh diet in order to lose 8kg. She revealed on Get it Beauty her method was to crazily exercise and eat. Which consisted of:

One meal a day of 4 quail eggs without yolk
A cup of Milk

Exercises:

Yoga
Weight training Cardio
Choreography rehearsals

This is an extreme diet, which is not only harsh but very unhealthy for the body.

- White Lining -

I received this lovely dress from Dresslink which you may have seen in my Dresslink Review and Haul~ A simple piece that can dressed casual, formal or suited for parties depending how you style it. I dressed it up with a floppy hat and leather tote bag for a more classy every day look. For a casual look, I would pair the dress with high knee shoes for a more toned down look and cutesy feel. In all honestly i'm not quite sure where I would wear this outfit to, fashion week or on a good day when I feel like dressing up a bit more maybe? :')
